Description
A fantastic piece of original Manchester City memorabilia from the iconic 1998/99 season, the club’s one and only campaign to date in the third tier of English football.
These A4 binders were officially produced and issued by Manchester City during the 1998/99 era and were primarily designed for supporters to store and preserve their City matchday magazines and other club publications.
More than 25 years later, they have become a wonderful piece of nostalgia in their own right.
Anything connected with the famous Kappa era has become increasingly popular with City collectors. It represents a period when supporting City was very different to today – culminating, of course, in that unforgettable afternoon at Wembley when Paul Dickov, Kevin Horlock and Nicky Weaver helped begin the club’s remarkable journey back through the divisions.
The binder remains extremely versatile and can still be used for its original purpose of storing City programmes and magazines, or alternatively for photographs, paperwork, tickets, autographs and other pieces of Manchester City memorabilia. Equally, it makes a great display item for anyone building a collection dedicated to the Wembley 99 era.
Most importantly, this is an original official Manchester City product from the period, not a modern reproduction or remake.
We currently have up to seven available, so buyers are welcome to purchase more than one binder if required – ideal for anyone looking to organise a larger Manchester City programme or memorabilia collection.
A great piece of nostalgia from City’s unforgettable 1998/99 campaign and another original item from an era that has become increasingly iconic amongst Blues.
