A stunning A4 colour photograph, personally signed by former Manchester City striker Paul Stewart, one of the club’s standout performers during the 1987/88 season.

Stewart enjoyed a superb campaign, finishing as Manchester City’s leading goalscorer and becoming one of the most feared forwards in the Second Division. His outstanding performances earned him a place in the PFA Second Division Team of the Year and secured a then British record transfer fee when he joined Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 1988.

Although his time at Maine Road was relatively short, Stewart made a tremendous impact. In just 63 appearances, he scored 30 goals, winning the admiration of Manchester City supporters with his relentless work rate, physical presence and determination to trouble opposing defences. Many supporters were disappointed to see him leave after just one full season, recognising the immense talent City were losing.

Stewart would go on to enjoy further success, including lifting the FA Cup with Tottenham Hotspur, but he remains fondly remembered by Manchester City supporters as one of the most exciting forwards of the late 1980s.
