Description
A superb and genuinely historic piece of Manchester City memorabilia, bringing together two very different generations of the club’s history.
This official Manchester City Tunnel Club – Access All Areas lanyard is from the Manchester City v Aston Villa fixture at the Etihad Stadium on 24th May 2026, a hugely significant occasion marking the end of an extraordinary era for the club.
The fixture saw Pep Guardiola take charge of Manchester City for the final time following an incredible ten years as manager, while it also marked the final City appearances of Bernardo Silva and John Stones. It was an emotional occasion at the Etihad and the conclusion of one of the most successful periods Manchester City has ever experienced.
The lanyard itself is an exclusive Tunnel Club / Access All Areas item from the fixture, making it a highly collectable piece of memorabilia in its own right.
What makes this particular example even more special is that it has been personally signed by Manchester City legend Alan Oakes, the club’s all-time record appearance holder with an incredible 680 competitive appearances.
The signature was personally secured by Mark McCarthy during a specially arranged private signing session with Alan, providing outstanding provenance and complete confidence in its authenticity. Genuine Alan Oakes signed memorabilia is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain compared with that of many other City legends, adding considerably to the appeal of this unique piece.
It creates a wonderful connection between two remarkable periods of Manchester City history – the club’s record appearance holder from the legendary Mercer and Allison era, alongside an original item from the final match of Pep Guardiola’s extraordinary reign.
A unique Manchester City collectible that would look superb professionally framed and displayed in any home, office, man cave or City memorabilia collection.
The item will be supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity and provenance from Mark McCarthy.
A genuine piece from an historic fixture, personally signed by a genuine Manchester City great – they don’t come much more City than this.
