Rare original Manchester City Kappa home socks from the iconic 1997–98 season, with direct player provenance.

These are an original pair of Kappa socks supplied for use by Manchester City during the 1997–98 campaign and were used with both the home and away kit combinations that season.

The socks were obtained directly from a Manchester City player by Mark and are accompanied by a letter of provenance, documenting their history and origin.

City’s late-1990s Kappa era has become increasingly collectible, and genuine player-issued items from this period are particularly difficult to find. Unlike the replica shirts that occasionally appear for sale, original player-sourced kit pieces such as socks rarely come onto the collectors’ market.
