Adding even greater significance, this remarkable offering also includes the original socks and shin pads worn by Harry Dowd during the match. Please note that the boots shown in the accompanying photograph are not included.

Harry Dowd remains one of Manchester City’s most respected goalkeepers and a key figure in the club’s successful sides of the late 1960s. A dependable and hugely popular servant of the club, he was part of the Manchester City squad that lifted the First Division Championship & FA Cup. Twelve years later, he returned to the pitch alongside many of his former teammates in Tommy Booth’s testimonial, celebrating another Manchester City legend following the club’s memorable run to the 1981 FA Cup Final.
