Description

A superb A5 photograph personally signed by former Manchester City favourite Clive Wilson, one of the most naturally gifted and popular Blues of his generation.

Manchester-born Wilson was a wonderfully talented and versatile footballer whose silky skills, composure and ability on the ball made him a firm favourite with the Maine Road faithful. During what was often a difficult and unpredictable period in City’s history, Wilson provided supporters with plenty of memorable moments and became one of the standout players of the era.

Equally comfortable operating further forward or from full-back, his ability eventually saw him enjoy a long and successful career in the game. Many supporters from the era regard Wilson as one of the finest English players of his generation never to receive a full international cap.

His connection with Manchester City and the supporters who watched him remains strong, making genuine signed memorabilia from Clive particularly appealing to collectors of City’s 1980s history.

This fantastic A5 photograph has been personally signed by Clive Wilson, with the signature obtained directly by Mark during a specially arranged private signing session with Clive, providing excellent provenance and complete confidence in its authenticity.

The photograph is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity and provenance from Mark McCarthy.

A fantastic opportunity to own a personally signed piece of memorabilia from a Manchester-born Blue and genuine Maine Road fans’ favourite.
