This is the complete player tracksuit, comprising matching jacket and trousers, issued as part of the official Kappa travel wear used by the Manchester City playing squad when travelling to away fixtures during the 1997–98 campaign.

This particular tracksuit was issued to long-serving City defender Ian Brightwell and was obtained directly from the player by Mark. It is accompanied by a letter of provenance, documenting its direct player connection and history.

The tracksuit remains in fantastic condition, making it an especially impressive surviving example of Manchester City’s original Kappa player wear.
